You can’t make this stuff up

In another episode of the Crystal chronicles…..

I have been on auto-pilot mode for the last two weeks. Between hospital with dad, work, dance studio, juggling schedules, fundraisers, kids, life in general….

Let me set it up.Β
We are all running late this morning. If Tanner isn’t at the daycare with AK by 7:20, he can’t ride the van to school. Well we leave the house at 7:30.

Off we go to school. If you know Tan, he is super quiet/shy in general. He’s playing on his ipad in the backseat and looks up.Β

Tan- “MOM! where are you going?”

Me-“Well we are late for the van so I am driving you to school”

He goes back to playing on his ipad and I pull up in the carpool drop off. We get next to the school and I unlock the door.Β

Me-“Okay buddy, have a good day”

Tan-“MOM! What are you doing?!?!”

Me-“Hurry up, this car behind me is ready to go.”

Tan-“MOM!!! This isn’t my school!”

Me-“Dying πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ at this point”

Tan-“Why are you lauging?!?”

Me- under my breath “I can’t make this up, I see you God”

We pull out to the stop sign and I have to get a kleenex at this point b/c I am dying laughing. Meanwhile, the daycare van passes in front of us.

Tan (slapping his forehead) – “Well there they go!. OMG MOM why are you still laughing? You need help”

We pull out of Hutchens and head to DawesΒ πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

I may be delirious, but I have laughed way to much at this.Β

Chaos Coordinator

Hannah Beth missed the bus this morning so that was the start of chaos. No real biggie though. Load everyone up, drop her off and head to daycare. As we are pulling in, the van to Dawes (Tan’s School) is pulling out. Off we go back towards Dawes….

Drop Tanner off and head back to daycare with Addie. I am sweating at this point and hair is already on top of my head. Sling the door open to get her from the car seat and the child has on one shoe. I search the car high and low and pull everything out on the ground.

Me- “Addie WHERE IS YOUR SHOE?”
AK- “I Frew out window”

I quickly remember Tanner giggling all the way to his school. Now I know why. At this point, all I could do is laugh, load everything back in my car, run to my house for another pair of shoes and bring her back.

The ride from daycare to my office was in complete silence. Not even Dave Ramsey . I did make a quick stop for some of God’s chicken. Happy Friday everyone. It can only get better from here, right?!?
